I just kind of can't help smiling from ear to ear right now. I went to put my kids to bed and ended up falling asleep with the little one accidentally for an hour, while my BF was making a cake for my first-born - he does that traditionally and he's made quite a few masterpieces so far.
So when I finally wander downstairs, all dazed and sleep-grumpy, he makes me close my eyes and ta-tam - presents me with that:

Besides the lego-themed cake for my son's b-day, he made me my own tiny personalized cake.:D *is blushing*
Now, how silly-pretty/corny-sweet is that?! It just made me smile and frankly, it made my evening. :) He doesn't show his affection very often, so when he does, it's so much more appreciated. I guess after 13 years, 2 kids, 10 extra kilos and all what goes with it - that's not bad, not bad at all. :)

Hih, I guess so!:D He kind of knocked me off my feet there! :) How very un-Dutch. And usually his cakes look good, but they're not all that to eat - but this one is yummy! He knows I don't like dry pastry, so he poured extra juice on it and, girl, do I feel like consuming the whole thing right now! :)
I'm in the process of answering to your other post, BTW - I might not be behind computer tomorrow much at all - guests and cleaning and godknowswhatcrap awaits - and it would be just too rude to leave you without a reply. Besides - I like chatting to you. :)
