There's hardly a point in writing this is the list of my Harry Potter fan fiction since all my fiction work is safely parked within the HP fandom :), but just in case one day I manage to come up with something that's not - "Here's a list of my HP fiction" - there, my work is done and life is once more perfect. ;)
Update on 1 July 2017: I just realised that ever since I've imported this from LJ, I've only been updating it there, but not here, so you can find a more accurate list at my Live Journal site or...

... On AO3 - I'd actually recommend going here, it's less messy and has a bit more cleaned up versions of the fics (and I'm faithfully crossposting, so it's all there)

On LJ (Update: some of these links take you to AO3, because the entries are too big for LJ to allow):
Master list of fics )
my_thestral: (Default)
Author's notes: Yey, and it's that time of the year again (well, for me it is, I barely post more than a few times a year, LOL) when the reveals  are up for the Live Journal's hp_crossgenfest in which I took part, though I never really meant to. In my opinion, one can see that I went into it unprepared because the story is too drawn out and without a proper plot, but I guess I've learned my lesson not to run away with a half-baked idea and no proper time to do it right. *sigh* But I'm whining needlessly, it is what it is, and some of you told me you actually enjoyed it, so thank you sincerely for that! :) But mostly, many super-sized thanks to my super-patient beta [personal profile] bleedingangel84  who always has encouraging words for me and who's ready to work around the clock to help me beat my chaotic overly-lengthy writing into some kind of a universally comprehensible story - if there's any merit to this story, it's all her doing! :) But because it shouldn't all be about me and my clumsy writing - check out the rest of the fest because some stories were truly phenomenal.
Title: Extra Credit (link goes to AO3, it's the most elegant solution)
Characters/Pairings: Draco Malfoy/Hugo Weasley, Scorpius Malfoy/Rose Weasley (background only), Harry Potter/Ron Weasley (background only)
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: 45.090
Warnings: Underage (16 years old), student-teacher relationship, contains spoilers from the “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” storyline, dirty talk
Summary: He’d never held a job… hell, he’d never even needed one! Yet somehow, a widowed Draco found himself agreeing to McGonagall’s desperate plea to take over a temporary post as a Potions Master at Hogwarts because… oh, he didn’t really know why! Besides, how bad could it be? It’s not like he was about to step into a hell-pit of teenage hormones and meet his personal devil, right? Right?! Er… There might or might not be a certain redhead around who insists on having a say in that.

Author's note: I make sure I take part in [community profile] hp_mhealthfest (also featured at LiveJournal at hp_mhealthfest ) because it's one of my favourite HP fests. About a million of profound and sincere “Thank you!”s to my super patient beta and good friend [personal profile] bleedingangel84 who fought her way through the gutter of my nightmare-inducing grammar, and cheered me on, when I felt like kicking this story to the curb for being too long, too bland, too… whatever. This piece was inspired by the lyrics of the song called “Innerlane” by Beseeched. Beware, it's not a light peace.
For all of us, living with scars.

Title: Sum tuo aere (link goes to AO3, it's the most elegant solution) - here's a link to Chapter 1 at Dreamwidth
Characters/Pairings: Draco Malfoy/Hugo Weasley, Scorpius Malfoy/Rose Weasley (background only)
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: 50.591
Mental Health Issue: Post-traumatic stress disorder
Warnings: Mentions of nightmares, violence and torture, nothing too gory or specific

Summary: Draco Malfoy’s been having a bit of a recurring issue with nightmares ever since the war. It’s always been manageable, of course… well, right up until his beloved son decides it is time to leave the family home at last to move in – gulp! – with Rose Weasley. Draco’s world implodes overnight and it’s anything but pretty. Enter a highly-recommended – though extremely exhausted – Healer, who specializes in some rubbish odd treatment, that’s obviously never going to work. Only, the copper-haired wonder might have an ace or two up his sleeve, that Draco never saw coming. For one, it’s another bloody Weasley, and he might be, uhm, just a little bit gorgeous...

Author's notes: Soooo, I was tempted by the lovely [personal profile] capitu ("If you write, I write" trap - I totally fell in it head first, LOL!) into participating in the Draco's Merry-Making Mini Fest hosted by the [livejournal.com profile] bottom_draco.
Considering the participants were supposed to deliver in less than 2 weeks, it was meant to be a really easy fest where drabbles and such were as welcome as anything else - there was not even any beta needed, thanks goodness, because I'm saving my precious beta [personal profile] bleedingangel84 for bigger projects, poor soul! :)
But me being me, I can't do short to save my life, so it came out at 12K and me looking confused "How did that happen again?!" But since it was fun to write, I'm not complaining and I hope you consider yourselves warned, LOL! It's a fun (little-not so little) piece involving two feisty Pygmy Puffs, because - why not? :)

Pairing: Draco Malfoy/Ron Weasley
Rating: NC-17
Word count: 12.808
Summary: Draco, facing a prospect of another lonely birthday, finds out that his old-time nemesis - that hot-headed pot of anger, Weasley - might have just entered the dating market - or so the rumours say - and decides to do something about his years-long obsession with the redhead's lovely temper. At all costs. Even if it means involving a pair of feisty Pygmy Puffs. Now, with Draco's rotten luck, how can this end well?!

I couldn't promise with 10.000% certainty I'll be taking part in this - though I'm eyeing it! - but people, less busy than I should definitely give the fandom's bad boy (but just a little) a shot, it should be fun!

Hello, everyone!

Like every person in the Universe - and their mother - I've somewhat migrated to DW with synchronised posting to LJ - and to be honest, I'm kind of hating it because I haven't managed to study all the settings and whatnots of it.

Does anyone know if there is a setting DW where you can set for the DW to alert you with an e-mail that your DW friend(s) have posted something? I honestly don't even remember browsing through Friends page and I'm afraid that I'm going to lose contact with most of you because I simply won't be nudged enough to follow what you guys have been up to.

That's how I had it set up with LJ - and if you still cross-post there, I'll see it - and that's how I'd like to have it set up in DW. I'm afraid I'll fall out of touch with everyone if I have to go browsing over my friends' page simply because I won't remember to in all my busy-ness.

I'll try to post a little update some time later in the week when my son is gone for school trip - I'm bound to have more time at some point! :)

*sends hugs to everyone across the fandom*

Heeey, it's that day of the [livejournal.com profile] ron_draco_fest again - the last one, sadly - buuuuut, it brings the reveals and I'm ready to embrace the one that's mine. This year I came up with a biblically-long story called My Unintended, which was terribly ill-fated in its writing process - I think I had to put the writing process on pause at least twice because the two farts of my sons diabolically decided not to get ill in the same week. In the end I was actually happy that it was finished (though only because of the wonderful mod's extension) even though the ending is a bit rushed. Oh, and it has two 1st person POWs, so if that's not your cookie, then I guess it's not your lucky day to read an overly-lengthy story. :)

I keep forgetting to mirror my posting from LJ to here. *sigh* Looks like I'm going to have to reverse the order and begin to post here first and then just tick the box where it mirrors the posting to LJ. The way things are going with LJ, I'm beginning to think about packing my bags, or just leaving my account open for reading my friends' updates and not really posting primarily there anymore.
The character limit is not very friendly to my Bible-sized fics, they no longer send friending and b-day notifications and I'm considering packing my bags and moving house to here. I mean, it's not like I've got many friends and my posts and stories never generate massive response, but I suppose I can live with that. But I hate appearing an idiot that ignores people's b-days and friending requests and if this keeps up I don't think I'll bother to be very active member of the LJ community anymore. Which is a shame, I really liked it there, and dreamwidth doesn't feel quite like home yet. *grunt*
So, in order to rectify the mirroring bit of my posting - here's my post from last night in an unlikely event that anyone cares, LOL. :)

Last night's LJ entry... nothing major, might as well skip )
In fandom/Lj related news: after digthewriter 's post about LJ no longer sending out friend notifications, I went to check out mine, just to discover that I have 3 new friends I never added back. :( That was immediately rectified, however it's hard not to feel a complete and utter idiot after that, so dear new friends, here are my profound apologies. (And a kick in the butt to you, LJ!) Because of the younger son's illness I'm also awfully behind on my Ron/Draco entry - it's literally been going nowhere lately, so I hope I can pull it together in time - if this prolonged stay at home continues for much longer, I might have to ask for extension (hopefully, I won't embarrass myself completely and drop out).

I haven't watched the Inauguration, but the first moves of The Orange One is taking are not promising: Withdrawing from Trans-pacific partnership or the proposed bill to pull the USA out of the United Nations (perhaps we need reminding that Hitler pulled out of the League of Nations before the WWII) - not to mention the monstrosity that is The global gag rule he just re-instated - now, these developments are not something that fills me with optimism - but then again the Dutch are more than up to the job of cheering me up with this "welcome" to the most megalomanic president ever - it made me giggle out loud and because it has English subtitles, you'll be able to enjoy it as well. :) I suppose as long as there is humour in this world, there is some hope left. Never mind the gloomy ol' me, I'll get over myself. :)

One of those dreadful weeks again - the little one is still ill, vomiting for nearly a week now, so we went back to the doctor and we're hopeful he'll be better by Wednesday, when he has his 7th birthday. The bed we ordered for him as a present 10 days ago is still not here, so I shouted at the shop assistant today and I blackmailed him into free delivery if the bed is not here by Wednesday - it's only good customer service, in this Slytherin opinion. ;)

I went to pick up son no.1 today at school only to find him shouting hysterically - apparently he had gotten in a fight with five other boys, broke up their ice sculpture and smacked a boy - an innocent bystander at that - in the mouth and gave him a split lip. His father was absolutely livid when he phoned the school, apparently. How will this impulse-driven Asperger son of mine ever avoid jail in the future, it's anyone's guess. *sigh* We try to explain the working of the system to him - if he becomes uncontrollably or too impulsively violent, he's going to end up institutionalised one way or another - and there won't be a damn thing I can do about that once he grows up. Not a very optimistic thought, I reckon. :(

I'm a lucky girl, I'll be the first to say that! Even though I bitch and complain lots (Slytherin charming grumpy nature, we can't help it), I know there's really not that much wrong with my life: me and my forever-groom both have jobs, I've got two little devils posing as kids that are healthy enough, and even though I'm constantly out of time, I still somehow managed to make some wonderful friendships here, online, and on LJ platform especially.
So, in the view of my b-day, almost a week ago now, I'm still getting super fun and brilliant presents. Yesterday I received a super-cute package by my dearest [livejournal.com profile] candamira which couldn't come at the better time - namely, it contained tea and chocolates and I swear I was ready to rob a store for these two things just when I got them! :D And the package was so pretty! The wrapping was all that and then the lovely card, made by her daughter (whose skills with the scissors are clearly better than mine!) - I was awwing all the way.

Just look at it - isn't it adorable:
My super-cute b-day present )
And you'd think that would be all, but I'm way luckier than that! :D My very talented bestie [livejournal.com profile] philharmony who is more than busy enough with her family life, took the time to draw me not one but TWO lovely pictures of the next gen children! :D The first picture features a very adamant Rose Weasley and a slightly panicked but very excited-looking Scorpius Malfoy hurrying to catch the Hogwarts express, while the second picture has my super-favourite tiny freckly Hugo in it (!!!), experimentally dealing with what Molly Weasley might call "a pest problem" using a wand he clearly managed to nick from his mum (oups!). Go see the cutest pictures ever and please give the author some love - I think they're super adorable! :D
UPDATE: The Hugo picture also got coloured - would you look a that! - I absolutely love everything about it: the lovely flaming hair, the tiny feet - the freckles... In short, he's great! :D

And now to the business part of this post - the reveals! As some of you might have guessed, I took part in this year's [livejournal.com profile] hp_nextgen_fest and I threw out another phone book of China (regarding the length) called Intervention. :) It's a very G-rated (with exception of one scene) story told from the perspective of an 11-year-old Scorpius Malfoy, which I wrote back in February, so I had it written before I saw The Curse Child (and Scorp's crush on Rose, LOL). It was meant to be a part of the Ron/Draco fest, but because I had to leave for the US, I ran out of time and I submitted a shorter story ("Dance with me") for that one. The way this story is written, it could fit into any of the two fests. I realise it's not everyone's cookie, because of the child's perspective, lack of porn (LOL!), the pairing and the biblical length, but I had some awesome comments on it, so I'm not complaining at all! :D Here's what I made of it. :)

Title: Intervention (goes to AO3)
Word count: 42.619
Pairings: Scorpius Malfoy/Rose Weasley (future), Draco Malfoy/Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger/Michael Corner
Rating: mostly G, with one R-ish scene
Disclaimer: Try as I might the adoption procedure of the characters is still not going anywhere and I can't call them mine. The story, however, is another matter, but it was done for love, not profit. :)
Warnings: lots of mischievous kids (at least ond of them unscrupulous mastermind), two oblivious, stubborn purebloods who are in grave need of some intervention, one unhappy ex-wife with an utter snot for a boyfriend
Summary: There isn't much to entertain an11-year-old Scorpius Malfoy in his sheltered existence, other than secretly practising magic and listening to his father's daily rants about his working partner, a.k.a. "that colossal idiot" Weasley. But shortly before he embarks on his first year journey to Hogwarts, Scorpius stumbles upon his father's big secret that involves a certain someone his father has been pining for - and suddenly his father's love life seems to call for emergency intervention. Now, what could an 11-year-old possibly do? Not much... but a bunch of 11-year-olds (or not quite) just might surpise you.
my_thestral: (dragon)
The way things are going this year, I'm beginning to feel that my birthday just might be stretched through an entire year! :) Namely, the fandom's wonderful [livejournal.com profile] digthewriter wrote me a wonderful drabble, called The Dance - featuring an adorably shy Scorpius Malfoy who happens to be having a thing for the fiery hair and utterly likable freckles of none other than Hugo Weasley but he just can't seem to bring himself to make the first move. Luckily, he doesn't have to. :) It's wonderful - please, go and read it and love it, like I did!

Thank you, once again, Dig, that was an űber lovely present! :D
my_thestral: (dragon)
Author's notes: I know it was supposed to end, I know it! But I had no bloody time and energy to write, because my life has been fucking insane lately and the only day when I was actually able to write any was my birthday, when I took a day off! :P And just because I have another two mad weeks in front of me, I figured out I better at least post something than try to complete it and still not manage in that time. It's not like it's hard to write, I just come home so bloody tired that my head hits the keyboard every time I try, LOL! I probably wrote another Twilight in my sleep already! :D Sorry about that, things will turn down a notch after December 6 (hopefully my mum will be home from hospital then) and I hope I can wrap this up at around that time. :) (Yes, I still live in illusions that someone's reading it). ;)
Title: To have and to keep - Chapter 8
Warnings: a very confused and very much underage Scorpius entering the world of crushes and sexual experiences he was perhaps not meant to have - in short, he just didn't think much. With his upper head. ;)
Main pairing: Scorpius Malfoy/Hugo Weasley (exclusively, this time)
Characters: Scorpius Malfoy, Hugo Weasley, Louis Weasley, James Sirius Potter, Al Potter, Minerva McGonagall, Rose Weasley, Lorcan Scamander, Lysander Scamander, Lily Potter, Draco Malfoy, Ron Weasley, Charlie Weasley
Rating: R, for language only
Word count: 5.400-ish (a tiny one )
Disclaimer: Nope, not mine. The sorry plot, yes - but the characters and any rights whatsoever - nope. No profit made.
Summary of this chapter: The things parents do for their children, honestly... ;)

Seriously, this fandom... it's just going to make me all bawl-y and sentimental, you know! *sniffs something silly*

So, the thing is, I'm not quite 45 yeat, but I'm going in that direction with the speed of light and it should happen in about another blink or two. But but but, the forever lovely [livejournal.com profile] capitu - who just happens to be the most considerate angel any fandom's ever had (capitu for fandom president! 100% in favour? Good, good!) - made me this absolutely lovely early birthday present, because she would be travelling on the "B"-day and won't be able to be around.

It's a banner for the first story of mine she ever read, called The Butterfly Effect and it's the a silly Ron/Draco story that brought us together as friends and shall be as such forever cherished by the awe-struck yours truly. Just look at this masterpiece:

113163_original-capitu

Isn't this brilliant?! How is this not the loveliest thing ever?! :)))) *sighs happily, flailing around the room like a chopper* I love the dark skies as a contrast to two wonderful creatures of the night, chasing each other towards the moon... *swoons* It's so romantic and lovely I just want to go and live in that picture! :)

Darling [livejournal.com profile] capitu - words fail me, but thank you, so, so much for just being around (even if it's a couple of days early, who cares, beats being late by all means!) and choosing me as your friend! Clicking that "add a friend" button might have just been the best fandom thing that happened to me. :) *hugs you tight and refuses to let go*
my_thestral: (dragon)
Wow, would you look at this idea of fandom love meme!

It has got wings like Hungarian Hortail! More than 700 comments as I write! And why not, it's a brilliant idea! I got some love myself (was stupidly proud, and it got me silly sentimental, you folks are the best! *beams like a happy little sun*) and I gave some out in return (go on, check yourselves out!). I'm so happy and proud to be part of this fandom! :D *hugs you all, why not, that's special house-elf magic, I can totally do that!)
