There was an entertaining challenge posted this week by akatnamedeaster regarding drawing, and because it's Friday and I'm up to some fun I could do with some further embarrassing of myself, LOL!

Well, yes, I'm aware that I'm on the other spectrum of talented, so this will definitelly call for subtitles: it's meant to be Scorpius Malfoy, enjoying his first morning coffee served by his lover. :)

Thank you, darling, it wouldn't happen if I didn't see your post, I was inspired. :) I wouldn't have actually posted it here unless I had to - I couldn't paste the pic directly to comments, so Kat told me to post it in my LJ and copy the HTML code and it worked! Ah, you know,I've submitted my frostiron draft a day early and should have written some more, but it's super hot here atm and I thought: let's do this. If you don't try it when it's a little fest for non-artists, you'll never do. It went better than I thought it would. Still think drawing a human being (or an animal) with lots of joints and an expression-like you did-would have been way more difficult. But yeah, glad my post could motivate you. <3

Yey, frosti-Ron draft is already readable! :) Can't wait to have some more to read from you. It's hot here as well, but I've always been somewhere with an air-co or ventilator, so it's not a problem. I even went to jump for 20 minutes with my son - that child has energy enough to power a small city! :P
Well, I happen to think animals are super hard to draw - I wanted to do a cat once and I laughed myself to tears, but my bunny and duck are passable, LOL - and I would have completely blown the owl. As far as I go, your owly looked exactly as it should and it had coffeeeee! :D I'd be happy to see it fly off the paper and into my office! :)

Well, the draft is ready, but the story's only half finished. It's the check in where the artists can take a look and pick a story. Not sure if they're matched or how it'll work (as I'm not sure the authors get to see the procedure). But yeah, Grace as my beta did a hell of a job on that part so it's as pretty as it can get.

We were swimming today (2nd day in a row) and even though I didn't catch much sun, I still feel it. The little one was very tired afterwards too and went to bed early (lol, mission accomplished). ;p

I see, so you're basically done with the draft but there are a few more steps for this whole thing to run. Don't forget to let me know when it's posted! :) I haven't worked with Grace before - except when she was a mod, and she was a kick-ass one - but I imagine she's super competent.
You have time off with your family in the city or are you on actual vacation? I'm taking kids to swim this weekend as a goodbye to the summer, and my older son and his dad are going to a Pokemone gathering tomorrow! :)

It'll be posted between Nov 1st and the end of November. I'll get my post date mid October, so I can tell you by then.
And I think the story is going to be around twice as long as it is now (which is nearly 10k).

Family time in the city. We have an open-air bath not far away, and as there are still summer holidays here it's not that crowed which is great. Enjoy your swim too! :D

Mmmmh, more coffee! If I had known this challenge to be so coffee-centered... ;-) Love that posh and aristocratic collar, looking well ironed and stiff, while his hair looks soft and wavy and still unkempt. Also the high cheekbones! Jesus, I want them! Great job, dear!!!

Go doodles! I really like this! I like your doodles a lot because they look so easy and clean. And I thought you did a great job with the Collar to Scorpius' robes and I immediately envisioned the entire outfit and was very happy :) He's getting waited on and the look on his face says "I totally deserve this." What a cocky little Malfoy Prince he is! To die for!

Anyways, sorry I didn't post anything to this challenge, I was tempted but I was distracted by... other things. As soon as you see my new post you'll hopefully understand :)

Thank you, this is too kind from you - KNOWING HOW MUCH BETTER YOU CAN DO!! I saw your wonderful post and I hope you let me promote it together with my story, but even if you don't I'm going to put it in my journal and squeal loud enough for everyone to see it. BECAUSE IT'S PERFECT!
This silly Malfoy here insisted to get up at the regular hour even though he's clearly still knackered (from a night full of, uhm, sports activities, LOL!), so a certain redhead decided to give him a hand (and a coffee) with this getting up business... :D
