Well, have a happy one indeed! :) Let your men pamper you and don't forget to spoil yourself rotten for once. And call moms and sisters and wish them a happy one indeed. It's a very popular holiday in my country - we used to get carnation flowers ever since we were kids - and today kids still make presents for their moms in schools and kindergarten. Even my imported, grumpy BF is currently busy baking a cake for me. :)

As you might have noticed, I was most shamelessly nominated for reading/commenting on a work of an artist or an unfamiliar pairing that is not my usual cookie, by the one and only ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

And because I'm a firm believer in "what better time than now", I went and took on the challenge directly: I read Tired of Pretending byenchanted_jae which is a super-cute little Ron/Neville pre-slash story and I drooled happily over this lovely art piece by digthewriter called Pulled Towards you - which is a mouth-watering Charlie/Draco art, something I've clearly been missing out on! :) How incredibly dumb of me. :) Be smarter than I, go check these two out. ;)
And because the rules of this challenging meme require, that I nominate another three poor souls, I've decided to "hang" the following three (sorry, people!)

Well, actually, it's happy birthday to both: my favourite fictional character (come over here, ginge, and give momma a hug!) and my super-bestest fandom member Praevarus (c'mon, everybody now): HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PRAE!!! :D
It's hardly a year since we've known each other, but it was an eventful one (perhaps even a bit too much on the turbulent side for my liking) and it's been much, much better in your company. You're my highly appreciated beta (I bow to you, oh, great one), you know just what to say when I'm being a drama queen and the fact that you're (so far) my only real life friend inside the fandom (and a very cherished one) also deserves a little mention... :)
Oh, my, this "congratulations" thingy is getting off the track like the rest of the stuff I write :P, so I'll make it short, trip over my foot and hug you (sorry about that!) and tell you that you absolutely must stay the coolest person that you are and the bestest friend. Erm... sorry, cat ate the rest of my speech and my eloquence. :)
I hope you get yourself a hot-chocolate-flavoured cake and some of the best Drarryporn slash in the fandom and if I ever hit my head, I might even write you some one day (I'd have to give up kids for adoption first to have some time, but that's just a minor detail and shan't serve as an excuse).

Author's note: Erm, you know that chapter I cut in two last time...? Well, this is the second part... actually, it's the first part of the second part *sheepish grin* Uhm... Just when I thought this day was going to be one of those "if this is the last day before my death, fuck it, just bring in the undertaker already!", my wonderfulest (heh)daleah made me a gorgeou art gift of a thestral !!! :D For obvious reason I was super impressed and my day was saved! :) Thestrals are my favourite HP creatures, beating even dragons (which I admire from afar) and house-elves (whom I identify with) by a fair margin!
Go tell her what a splendid girl she is and how lovely her work is! :)
And she even made me a gorgeous icon, dammit, I'm a lucky girl! :)

Author's note: Boy, one can really see I'm overdosing on those endless fics and my way out, to still keep the fun in the game, is to write a few shorter interludes. I shocked myself with this one, because it's unlike anything I've every written: it's het (oh, my, is it?!), the pairing is canon (how could I?!), not to mention it's very G rated and super-short and from Hermione's perspective... did I leave anything out? Nah, I don't think so. It just came to me this day, during a less than glossy Valentine's day and it wanted my attention, and since it was from Hermione's perspective and we all know how she gets (canaries, anyone?), I said to myself I better listen. <-- Heh, what a load of rubbish I just came up with, but it's me, what *did* you expect?!

Author's note: Oh, man, I've been so busy writing everything else but this one, that I was almost tempted - for the umpteenth time! - to, for god's sake, let it rest and see if I could get away with one unfinished fic... Fat chance of that! Did you know you have to go to sleep with your conscience? No? Me neither! Till the little bitch started whining in my mental ear "you've never been a quitter, you're not going to start now, are you?!" - and I decided to drag this thing back to life screaming and by it's fucking hair. :) It's kind of short (for me) and more of a gesture of "let's not let it fall asleep" than an actual update. I have more written, but with my crazy-ass schedule going even more off the track with my dad in hospital, I figured the rest can fit in another chapter.
