It's really been a stressful week, but it's mostly over now. With some luck, the little one is going back to school tomorrow - just in time for his b-day, yey, his father will be packing candy all evening! :)
And thanks to the really cool teachers in my son's school the thing with the injured boy will probably not escalate further - though the thought of "next time" scares me, to be honest. :/ Still, this is not something that can be rectified by worrying about it, so I tend to deal with things as they come. *gratefully accepts the hugs*
I'm seriously considering making dreamwidth my real home if this bullshit at LJ keeps up - no b-day and friending notifications - it's hard not to look and feel an asshole, though I have a feeling that it's objectively not my fault. I relied on Lj, but at least when it comes to b-days, this is something I can fix - I will just go through all my 20+ friends' profiles and write out b-days on my calendar, so LJ can be lazy all it wants to be. :P Not an optimal solution, but still... a natural born complainer that I am, I already complained to LJ and I told them that I hope I'm not too arrogant for expecting a reply, LOL! :) In all honesty, I don't expect one, but if they fix the issue, that will be the best answer that is. *sends big hugs your way*
