Hm, I normally don't do this, but I'll make an exception this time, because I had a rather stressful day and because just thinking of my favourite music makes me feel a bit better even though I'll barely have time to play any today.

You might like "M" - Lacrimas Profundere is a German band after all - and "A" - because it's not as screamy as the others, while the rest... erm, something tells me they're not your cookie.

You're absolutely right about music being a very individual thing and sometimes I don't even know why I like a certain song. I guess it just speaks to me. If I wasn't limited to the beginning letters of my LJ name, though, these would not all make it my current "Top Me Songs". :)

Oh, that comes as no surprise to me! Guns n'Roses used to be pretty big in South America and I'm not surprised you've heard of that one.;)

But unless you're a metal - or at least a rock - fan, you wouldn't know any of the others. The last one (L), though, is not very rock, it's just quite old and you'd have to be as old as I to know it. :) I like the lyrics, not so much the melody.

I'm not surprised that you don't know the rest - there are German and Finnish and British bands in there that mostly play heavy metal music and aren't very well known.
