Claiming Fic: Extra Credit
Author's notes: Yey, and it's that time of the year again (well, for me it is, I barely post more than a few times a year, LOL) when the reveals are up for the Live Journal's hp_crossgenfest in which I took part, though I never really meant to. In my opinion, one can see that I went into it unprepared because the story is too drawn out and without a proper plot, but I guess I've learned my lesson not to run away with a half-baked idea and no proper time to do it right. *sigh* But I'm whining needlessly, it is what it is, and some of you told me you actually enjoyed it, so thank you sincerely for that! :) But mostly, many super-sized thanks to my super-patient beta
bleedingangel84 who always has encouraging words for me and who's ready to work around the clock to help me beat my chaotic overly-lengthy writing into some kind of a universally comprehensible story - if there's any merit to this story, it's all her doing! :) But because it shouldn't all be about me and my clumsy writing - check out the rest of the fest because some stories were truly phenomenal.

Summary: He’d never held a job… hell, he’d never even needed one! Yet somehow, a widowed Draco found himself agreeing to McGonagall’s desperate plea to take over a temporary post as a Potions Master at Hogwarts because… oh, he didn’t really know why! Besides, how bad could it be? It’s not like he was about to step into a hell-pit of teenage hormones and meet his personal devil, right? Right?! Er… There might or might not be a certain redhead around who insists on having a say in that.
