Neville coms, anyone?

Hey, y'all! I've got a question - and a bit of promotion - to do. I was wondering if any of you knew if there were any communities out there to post a lovely Neville Longbottom/Theodore Nott story. You see, a fandom friend of mine [livejournal.com profile] philharmony just finished her first fandom story (yey, everyone, this is where we throw our hats in the air! :D), and it's great, so I think more people should read it.

You think [livejournal.com profile] hp_fanfiction or [livejournal.com profile] hp_slash would be appropriate if there isn't anything more specifically dedicated to Neville? I wish I wasn't so damn clumsy navigating the LJ, so I hope someone of you, lovely, smart folks, might have some idea. :) A lot of work went into this story - it's over 90K long - and I really like all the colourful characters and the interesting plot, so I'm kind of hoping you'd be willing to help me out.

Anyway, not to sell you a cat in a bag - the story is called My cup of tea and it introduces us to Theodore Nott, working as an Unspeakable at the Ministry, caught in the daily routine of his rather solitary post-war existence. That is, until his world is turned upside down by a visting Neville, who only wanted to borrow a tea-bag, and managed to snatch Theo's heart away somehow. But you know what happens when you mix Slytherins and Gryffindors - a lot of action, that's what! :) This story has lovely scenery, adorable characters (old and new) and a very intriguing plot (with a proper villain and all!) and it's all the way hot and wonderful, so if you're up for a bit longer read, I'm certain you will end up appreciating it! And since everyone can always use a bit of help promoting their talent - that's what I'm up to today... :)

For Neville there's [livejournal.com profile] nevillosity and since Theo/Neville is a rare pair she could also post at [livejournal.com profile] hprarepairs which I think is more active.

Yey, I knew who I had to ask! :D *beams* Thank you so much, I never really thought of the rare-pairs community, that's a brilliant idea. I wish I was able to navigate the LJ half as good as you, but I just tumble about clumsily, squealing for help all the time, LOL! Thank you for taking the time! :)

There was a time when it was easier to search comms on LJ... I just tried and it's not the same as it used to, lol.

Look at this!!! My very own rec! And from my very favorite LJ friend!!! This is so amazing! You're the best! I'm glad that at least parts of it made you happy. It's been such a fantastic time, writing this, and corresponding with you :) And you're a fantastic reccer! I'm so happy!!

Of course it's a rec, I couldn't bloody wait until it was done, could I! And it's a tiny and miserable one, because I was still at work at the time, but even though you deserve so much better, I hope that I maybe get the ball rolling and someone will read it and give you all the kudos that has more influence and friends than I!
It's been great reading you, and I'm going to miss it heaps!

Oh, if you can spare the time, you have to give it a chance, it's really lovely! :) It's colourful and funny and the characters are so well developed! I'm always willing to ignore my preference for specific pairings if the story is that good! :) I hope that you find some time for it - philharmony could definitely use some signal boost for her writing! :)

I have it first on my to-read list! :D I adore rare-pair and Neville. I know I'm going to have the best time with this fic. I need more time!!!! Ahh!

I'm OK, just, busy. *meeps* But can't complain. ;) I mean, I can, and do! But things are very OK that I don't need to. *basking in the momentary ~peace*
