I hope it was a magical night and that you have a great year indeed! We set the neighbour's grass-field of fire with one of the rockets, but it was luckily frosty and it only took us a bucket of water to put the fire out, but still - what a beginning of the new year! :D

Thank you, darling, I hope you had a great celebration yourself! Ours was great - up to the point that my BF set the neighbour's grass-field on fire with one of the rockets, glb! :P But luckily there was no damage done, it was too frosty to burn. Spectacular year began with a spectacle, LOL! :)

Oh, don't you worry about that one, when you have time - you're honestly don't missing out, it doesn't even have a story, it was just a bit of experiment. You shouldn't do it out of sense of duty, honestly, you'll do it when you feel like it - I'm pretty sure that with the latest Sherlock development you've got nicer things to read, LOL! :D
What happened at Sherlock anyway, that everyone is so excited? I don't have time to follow any series much (except for Vikings), but I'm kind of sorry about missing out on that one. Was it the beginning of the season or some other development excited the fandom?

Behind the cut it's really spoiler-ish. If you want to watch it and want to be surprised, better don't read on. Otherwise, go ahead. :D
It's more or less 88 minutes of Sherlock in his mind palace, sometimes in a Victorian setting, sometimes at our times in the plane, and 2 minutes of rl events (depending on what is all happening in the MP - discussions are running wild). Well, the Victorian setting is stunning and that it's all happening in Sherlock's head even more. There are huge part's told in Watson's pov, Mycroft is totally twisted by Sherlock's mind (he's obese like hell), there's a drag Molly with mustache and short hair, Moriarty being all chummy and mad-flirty with Sherlock, a badass-smart Mary who Sherlock hates and fears, another Reichenbachfall, and so many hints on gayness - you won't believe it. It's really worth a good look. I'm downloading it for excessive rewatching events. LOL
Oh, and I've already started to read, but there's still a child running around, so not much peace to do so. I love both pov's so far. :D

Oh, that sounds interesting! I probably won't be able to watch it - or to properly make sense of it given the fact that I haven't been following it - so I just read it and it seems intriguing indeed!

I assume it was longer than usual? Which season is it? I have to ask, because I might ask the father of my children to deviously download it somewhere and I suppose I'd have to start with season 1 to be able to follow.

It follows season 3. Basically, the minute season 3 ends. The normal episodes are 90 minutes too. So now we have 10 full 90 minutes stories, one 'gay' unaired pilot and a 10 minutes or so special set after season 2.

Oh, there aren't that many! I thought this ran every week or so, but it seems not! That's viewable! I'll ask Mr. Thestral ;) to take it off - I don't have technical capacity to do so, LOL! :) But 11 shows I can do! Let's see if I like it. I have a vague memory of seeing one, but I don't know if it was the first one, probably not and maybe that's why it didn't catch my fancy. I'll let you know when I start watching it and how I like it!
You're always so kind with reading my work, but I'd hate to think you're missing out on spending your time with your little one over some half-baked story I put together! :) There will be time for this silly Thestral's mad rumbling enough!

Haha, if there were weekly Sherlock episodes Sherlock fandom would never go sleeping at all. Now you know why everyone is so excited. Series 3 aired in winter/spring 2014 and it's been a long waiting time for everyone.
It's common knowledge that these guys are all terribly busy and it gets tougher and tougher to match their schedules.

LOL, I see why are you so hyped - such a rare commodity as each episode is indeed valuable! :) I was already thinking about how they even do this, because some of them - Benetict C. in particular - have such a prominent and frequent presence in all entertainment formats (stage and movies alike). It must be indeed murder to match their schedules, but I imagine that they also make the effort because they like appearing in such a cult series (and possibly some serious money doesn't hurt as well! :D)
