And mind you, I'm a Ron girl, I like 'em tall and possibly ginger (but I'll settle for blond if there's none of ginger around) - but if someone asked me if I wanted this Harry "to go", I'd probably break my neck nodding enthusiastically, all the while shouting "and gift-wrapped!". :D
Thank you, my vacation actually starts on Sunday, but today was my last day at work for the next two weeks and I was as happy as a drunk bumblebee! :)

Winter break is already over. My daughter started her second semester this past Monday. Summer vacation usually starts the second week of December. :)

Well, I do think Bill is a hottie, scars or not (my friend once described my taste in men as: throw your wallet at them and run for your life :)) and possibly Charlie is cool (I mean - dragons!!! What's not to like?!), but in all honesty, I'm a Ron girl. I think I'd fall for him in real life as well. :)
I really disliked the book Draco until they gave the part to Tom Felton - and I think he added a quality and multi-dimensional facets to his personality that we don't see in the books, so I sort of like the movie Draco, though in real life I'd probably attempt to knock his teeth out with a phone book of China. :D
Girl, you live in a world upside down!:) Only "summer holidays in December" make me realize how "western" our concepts of holidays and weather are - hardly anywhere in Hollywood production you can see Christmas with 40°C! :) You live an interesting life!

I love Bill and Charlie too, not necessarily together, but I don't mind if they are, even better if they're sharing Draco. :D
and in next gen, I really like good uncle Charlie being a bit of a perv. :P

what always makes me laugh are the poor dudes in the santa suits with the fake beards sweating their balls off!

My favorites are often the ones I've read most, so when it comes to the Weasleys, I'd say definitely Charlie, (and I ship him with about anyone) followed closely by Ron, then Bill, the twins, Ginny (i like her in femslash pairings), Percy... in next gen, I love Hugo, sadly not written enough. ;)

Then of course I love Harry and Draco and Harry/Draco, not necessarily exclusively. I can read Draco with almost anyone, but not Harry. I love Harry and Ron but as friends only!

and you already know my love for the next gen characters. I think it comes from the fact that many of the fics I read when I first got into the HP fandom were next gen fics. I saw them on my flist all the time, they were written quite often, there were more fests with those characters too.

Oh, wow, you ship so many! :) That must give you a lot to read. I'm much more narrow in my interests. I barely read any het - occasionally Ron/Pansy or Rose/Scorpius and I only wrote one het, a very short - and innocent, heh - Ron/Hermione. Het is not so much my thing.
When it comes to slash ships, I like Ron/Draco the best, closely followed by Ron/Harry. I find these two ships totally different, ergo interesting - the dynamics is worlds apart. And then there's Bill/Charlie and maybe Sirius/James or Sirius/Regulus - but I'm not really a Marauders' girl - and then this is nearly it!
And when it comes to next gen, I'll read almost anything, my favourite being - surprise surprise - Hugo and Scorpius. I totally agree that Hugo is not around nearly enough (I have to make an effort to fix that! ;))
I think I started as a Ron/Harry girl, but once I discovered Ron/Draco, that really got me going! :)

That's what I love about HP, there's more than a few ships, there's a whole navy! It makes everything more interesting and lasting too. I know I would get bored reading the one ship, I mean I can do that for a few years but not forever. :)

Oh, I totally agree! Though I cannot warm up to the Giant Squid/Hagrid pairing ;), I like all the variety out there. I haven't been in fandom long enough to actually tire of my favourite ship - and the fact that there isn't that much of it around also helps - but I like to broaden my horizons and I'd sometimes read outside of my usual choices just to gain some fresh perspective and admire the idea or its execution on its own, not influenced by my love for the pairing. Agreed, variety is one of the coolest things in the HP fandom! :)
