Pimping, what else: next_gen fest!

Eh, I kind of vaguely remember boasting like a rooster on a pile of manure that this journal shall not be neglected any longer, but we Slytherins tend to be a bit shifty when it comes to our promises, erm, you know... it was just a temporary promise, drafted for the purpose and limited to that particular mail! *innocent blink* (How did I do with wiggling out of this one?)
So, yeah, but not to be a complete and utter butt, I decided to at least be half way decent and pimp a next_gen fest which is coming real soon (and which I might take a part in if I finally lose al my marbles).and which is totally going to be awesome. I'm looking forward to reading all of them stories, so go wild, people! :)

Well, I've got the idea lurking about already and it would be convenient - but it's not entirely down to me anymore.
I sent a few questions to the mod, because I'm probably on holidays with no access to Internet when the prompting starts - and I'd only be able to do my own prompt, so it's a bit counter-productive to put it up for grabs... you know, issues like these. So depending on answers to these questions, I'll see if I can participate. I'll still write it it, even if I don't manage to take part in the fest, I promised Nia_kantorka a belated b-day fic with a next gen pairing! :)

Of course I'll write it, a promise is a promise and that fest is just a convenient way to get it out there in style (which is only a good thing if it was going to be any good!).
I hope I don't lose my inspiration over the holiday; out of precaution I already wrote the idea down, cause I can't trust my geriatric brain. :)

Well, I spoke to the mod about some questions/concerns I had and the answers are what I was hoping for, so if I can push this baby out by October, it's coming! ;)
But given my hectic family life, I always have to reserve the right to fall off the wagon if the emergency strikes - but that doesn't mean that the story isn't going to be written, only that it won't be part of the fest because of the timeline issues. I'm writing the damn story no matter what! :) *puts her writing gloves on and cracks fingers*

Eh, you know me, I'm like this little puppy that looks at you with big wet eyes and nudges you with his tiny wet nose, so no matter how sad you are - things are a bit better, because someone cares. ;)
I think it's great that you decided to be a good friend, even though the life pulled you apart a bit and you deserve all the support you can get in doing the right thing, no matter how hard it is! ;)
I'm definitely going to write this one, goddammit if I could deliver two babies in under two hours, respectively, I can definitely give birth to a goddamn fic in a few months! :) And if I can't for some (at this point) inconcieveable reason, you're getting it as a Christmas present or something. ;) Even if I have to write it under a Xmas tree with Santa banging on the door! :D
