Well, to be honest, I was a bit of a wild one as well when I was my son's age (I broke a chair on someone's back but it was a wobbly chair and he totally had it coming, the bastard! LOL... I'm beginning to see the pattern) - but these are different times. If I came home with a split lip, my parents didn't even bother asking where I got it because they knew that the other person probably fared much worse. Today's parents are much more sensitive to their kids' well-being and that's not necessarily a bad thing, it just puts a person like my son in a position where he will eventually have to learn that actions like these can have serious consequences. Well, there are always pills for kids with autism...*sigh* I was hoping I'll have to use them when he's in puberty, but the way it looks right now, I'll have to start earlier. :P

I think the b-days are in person's profiles, for those who put them there, so I'll take some time one of these days and just write them out. I've got like, 20+ friends, it shouldn't take me long. :)

I'm politically engaged, to be honest, but not by belonging to any party, but by speaking out for things that interest me and my rights and my well-being. Because if you don't speak out, you can't say you've done all you can to make a stand for what you believe in. I'm a pretty passionate person and that extends to all areas of my life. I get smacked over the gob - figuratively, of course - for such attitude sometimes, and I can't say that sometimes I don't deserve it. But I believe in speaking out and staying informed. :)

Since my son's a bit better and will probably be going back to school tomorrow - I'm splendid! :D
